One whole month without anything sia, being somewhat busy and also nothing much to talk about. Just my no-life's life. Nothing interesting for a very long time except this blur cock trip to Central ManPower Base(CMPB). Going NS soon ah, so before that i need to go CMPB for medical checkup, cool.
Dun even know where is it, my friend told me actually quite near my house, she said it is around redhill there only. But hor, redhill sounds quite far from me leh, LOL, looks like only jurong, clementi sounds near to me. Anyway, then another friend quite helpful ah, told me how to go there, even draw out a picture let me know after i alight liao, must walk where walk where. He said take train to redhill liao then take bus no.145 i think, then awhile will reach liao. But i got bus concession ah, so i wana check got another way to go there or not. So i went to streetdirectory.com to check lor. Then streetdirectory says that i take bus no. 105 from clementi to buona vista, then cross a T- junction to another bus stop, there will have 145, then take to CMPB lor. Abit troublesome ah, because i need to take bus to clementi first, then 105, than 145, but nvm lah.
Then that day come liao, so i just followed what i saw from the website lor. Then after i alight from 105 liao, i began to walk to next bus stop, but the nxt bus stop very far ah, although is so called cross the junction then the following bus stop only. but walk from 105 bus stop to t-junction already quite long ah, then cross liao, still need to walk abit more to then can reach the bus stop. Then after i crossed the road right, when walking to the next bus stop, i saw a bus drove past - bus no.105. I was like what sia..., haiz....nvm, then i walk to the bus stop liao. then i saw the 145 bus stop got 105 also, kaoz......Thanks sia streetdirectory.com. Then i saw got bus no. 147 also sia, wa laoz...never say. Walking to the 105 bus stop is further than walking to the 147 bus stop lor. Then nvm, i took 145 then i alighted.
Since CMPB is the other side, so i need to walk the overhead bridge to the other side. Then at the other end of the bridge, got a bus stop also mah. Then right after i walk finish the last step of the overhead bridge, i saw a bus drove past - bus no. 176 (Just beside my house, got a bus stop with only one bus - bus no.176). I WTF-ed, then i super sian sia. But i console myself that at least now i know got direct bus from my house to here, so later i can go back more conveniently. End up i reach CMPB took like 1hr like tat, then i reach home so fast lah, nb. Too bad streetdirectory.com only work with SBS buses, didnt show SMRT buses, that's why end up i took 3buses there and 1bus home, LOL.
Haha, abit long ah, just now that part only is the 'journey' section only, after i reach CPMB, still got somemore to share ah. Here goes...
After i crossed the overhead bridge, i need to walk for quite long before i finally reached the entrance, then i just walk in through the road that is for cars. To me, like no diff leh, i still havent reach CMPB yet, still outside, so i just took the shortest path to the CMPB building lor. Because that place quite big, besides CMPB, still got other buildings. Then the guard from across alerted me and pointed to the other path for ppl 1. Then i 'oh ok' and cross over lor. Reached there liao need to scan 1, put my bag for scanning, then scan myself also. Then i reached a counter there, need to tell me say i going CMPB for the enlistee thingy all those. He then gave me a key to a small locker, to lock my handphone inside. After locking my phone, they got these like MRT tapping machine kind of thing 1, but i dun need to tap lah, i juz walk from another side. Then i look at the map, find where is CMPB, then got one army guy quite friendly, he asked if i was going to CMPB, then told me how to walk there, cool sia.
Finally, I reached the CMPB building, then i registered myself for the medical checkup lor. First i need to go for photo taking, then proceed on to the checkup part. I went to the photo taking room, while waiting for the photo taker to surf finish net, the cleaner auntie friendly also sia, she asked if i had eaten my breakfast then even said "当兵很麻烦 hor?", then i just hehe. Then that guy ask me to take off my shirt and wear the army shirt, not the camo 1, is like yellowish 1. Somewhere near the collar part, is stick on 1, then i saw the holes for the button, so i tried to find buttons to button mah, then that guy said "there is no button". LOL, then i 'oh ok' and sit down for photo taking. He instructed me like 'tilt to the left', 'turn to the left', 'chin down' all these lah, but he like act cool act cool 1.
I proceed to the medical check up thingy, that time was around 11+am, then the receptionist told me the first session over liao, must wait until 1pm, i can either go eat, or slack there. I got 1hr+, then duno what to do also, i tried to explore the 2canteens lor. The food there wah cheap ah, $2, $1, i see liao abit shocked. Didnt expect that place to sell that cheap. Then end up i ate at the canteen with aircon 1, i thought the food maybe sucky ah, but those ppl no choice ah, must eat inside, if not go in go out, need to scan scan scan, sian ah. I tried the chicken rice, quite nice, just that the soup abit weird, lol. Didnt see much army uniform ppl in the canteens thought.
After i slack finish liao, i returned around almost 1pm like that. Then i was thinking, the checkup should be quite long ah, so i go pee first, just in case later cant go then jialat. I went toilet liao then go back, in a moment then the receptionist call my name liao, then he asked me to go station 1. So i happily went only to find out that station 1 is URINE TEST. I "huh?!" out loud until the medical ppl look at me, then bo bian so i guai guai went inside the toilet with the strip of paper for testing. Sia lah, i just pee finish then straight away urine test, wah nb die lah. End up i wait there for very long sia, also nothing came out, then i keep drinking water. End up the batch of ppl that went with me all zao liao, i still inside with another batch of ppl.
After that, is the withdrawing of blood. The one who withdraw my blood 1, he talk talk with me, as i from what poly, what course all these. After he applied the alchohol or duno what, then when he took out the needle he said "here comes the needle". I was like "wa kaoz...有必要吗?", want to scare me ah? The very last station is the quizes 1. Use computer type 1,2,3,4 de. I do until abit sian ah. Then some section is maths qns 1, then at my computer station got a pencil, but no paper, i like wtf sia, like that give me pencil got what shit use. So, i did most of the maths qns using mental calculation, those too chim 1, i wrote on the table. End up my table there alot of scribbling.
I left the whole place at 4pm sharp. Cool man, so the check up quite short, although i stayed there for much longer ah.
